Server rules
No hacking. No macros. Use common sense.
That covers most of it. The detail is below if you want it.
| Do | Do not |
|---|---|
| Treat people decently | Harass, insult or target anyone |
| Keep chat readable | Spam, flood or shout in caps |
| Fish honestly | Use hacks, macros or exploits |
| Report bugs you find | Use them |
| Keep it to the game | Advertise, scam or trade for real money |
What gets you muted
Chat problems. Usually temporary.
Spam and flooding: walls of text, repeated messages, excessive caps, emoji spam.
Toxicity: harassment, targeted insults, or baiting someone into breaking a rule so they get punished. Baiting counts as the same offence as doing it yourself.
Hate speech or slurs: no ladder here. Straight to a mute, and it escalates fast.
Advertising: promoting other servers, Discords or your own content without permission.
Voice channel disruption: voice changers, disconnect spam, mic abuse.
What gets you banned
Things that harm other players or the server. These skip the ladder.
Hacks and cheats: unfair client modifications, autoclickers, macros. Anything that fishes for you.
Exploiting bugs: using a glitch instead of reporting it. In a game built on an economy this is not victimless: every coin created from nothing devalues what everyone else earned by actually fishing. Exploited economies also tend to get rolled back, so nobody keeps the gains anyway.
Scamming or real-money trading: taking someone's items or currency dishonestly, or trading anything in game for real money.
Doxxing: sharing anyone's personal information. Ever, for any reason.
Impersonation: pretending to be another player or a staff member.
Ban evasion: alt accounts to dodge a punishment. It also burns any goodwill you had toward an appeal.
Blacklisting
Repeatedly breaking rules, or organised disruption like raiding, gets you blacklisted rather than banned.
That is the end of the line.
How punishments work
Staff work up a ladder, warning → mute → temporary ban → permanent ban: depending on what happened and whether it has happened before. Serious offences skip to the end.
Staff use judgement. These are guidelines, not a price list.
Appeals
Appeal in the OneCast Discord.

Rules cannot list every situation, and this page deliberately does not try. If you are wondering whether something breaks them, that hesitation is usually your answer, or just ask.
